About the school
AIC Kapsowar school of Nursing is a Nursing Council of Kenya accredited nursing school that was started in August 2008 and the first class of 17 students was admitted in September of the same year. It is own and run by AIC-Kenya under the auspices of the operating board of AIC Kapsowar Mission Hospital. By extension the foundation of the college is by work of missionaries. The college enjoys good support from the missionaries, government, church, leaders and politicians and the community among others.
Location
We are in a lushly set environment, with beautiful colored vegetation and direct view of
Cherangany Hills, making it an ambient place to be. We create a stress free and friendly learning
environment for both students and staff with psycho-social support, spiritual nourishment as well
as talent development, we nurture internationally recognized professional.
Student Life
All students are assured of accommodation and meals within the main campus and in all areas of
clinical placements without extra charges outside the school fees. We provide separate hostels
for Males & Females. Essential utilities like water, electricity, Wifi connectivity are available
24/7.
Library
Our library is well equipped with over 3000 different nursing books to equip students with
current knowledge and information. Also the students are provided with areas for clinical
experiences for practical learning.
